The Person Behind the Pieces
Callen Jade is, by her own description, a lover of the ocean, a dedicated snacker, and a maker of jewellery.
It started early. Jewellery fascinated her from a young age - not just to wear, but to understand: how it's made, why certain pieces hold their weight, what makes something beautiful and enduring at the same time. That fascination led her through five years of study and out the other side with a B-Tech Degree in Jewellery Design & Manufacture.
She set up her studio in Durban North, and built C.Jade from there - piece by piece, client by client. Every item on her Instagram, every ring on her website, came out of that workshop. Made by hand. Made by her.
"I not only want the wearer to love the jewellery that they are wearing, but to feel loved while wearing it. An extension of themselves."
