Most people notice a problem and move on. Vahin Naka noticed one and built a business around it.
Vahin is a university student in his early twenties, and like every student, he knows the feeling of sitting down to revise and not knowing where to start. But where most of us just push through, Vahin got curious about why revision so often goes wrong. The answer, he found, kept coming back to the same thing: bottlenecks.
Finding the bottlenecks
Bottlenecks are what Vahin calls the small, specific roadblocks that quietly hold students back - the one concept that never clicked, the gap that makes everything built on top of it wobble. Students usually can't see their own bottlenecks. They just know the marks aren't moving.
That's the problem Expandable Education was built to solve. The platform helps students figure out exactly where they're getting stuck and what to focus on next, so revision stops being a guessing game and starts being a plan. Find the bottleneck, tackle it, move forward. Learning gets a whole lot more effective when you know precisely what's in your way.
It worked. And it didn't stay local - Expandable Education now serves clients beyond South Africa's borders.

The admin bottleneck
Growth brought Vahin a bottleneck of his own: invoicing. Clients at home, clients abroad, and a business that needed to look as professional on paper as it was in practice. Managing that manually would have meant hours lost to admin - hours a full-time student building a global business doesn't have.
So Vahin did what Vahin does. He treated it as a problem to solve, not a chore to endure, and went looking for a tool that could handle the invoicing side of the business for him.
His search took an unexpectedly modern route: he asked Gemini for an invoicing recommendation. The answer that came back was stub.
He gave it a try - and found the smart invoicing solution he'd been looking for. Invoices out, payments in, international clients handled, and the admin bottleneck cleared for good.

What's next
Vahin turned a frustration every student knows into a business helping students around the world learn better. He identifies problems, removes what's in the way, and keeps building - in his studies, in his business, and in how he runs it.
Safe to say, we're excited to see where he takes Expandable Education next. 🚀
