A new insights dashboard
The insights dashboard got a top-to-bottom overhaul. It’s fresher, it’s easier, and it’s more useful than ever before. To break it down a little bit:
- Build your own dashboards to keep an eye on the accounts and numbers that matter most to you.
- Bank accounts get their own dedicated space on the dashboard, so reconciling is just one click away.
- Charts got a refresh too. They’re clearer, more accessible and easier to read at a glance.
Improvements
Security: sign in with a passkey, and add an authenticator app for stronger protection. If something looks off, you can remove either one with a single click from the security email we send you.
Reports: mark a return as filed, and pick the day you filed it, straight from the report page.
Bank: already connected Capitec to one business? Share that connection with a second business instead of reconnecting.
Bank: pick the currency when you create a manual bank account.
Bank: upload OFX and QFX bank statements.
Bank: Capitec and Yodlee bank feeds are faster and more reliable behind the scenes.
Multi-currency: new income and expenses look up the exchange rate for their date, and warn you if the lookup fails.
Customers: a customer’s overview now lists the payments allocated to their invoices.
Contacts: customer and supplier lists no longer hide inactive contacts by default.
Exports: exports default to the kind of list you’re viewing, and the Products and Services CSV now includes SKU.
Settings: a bit of a tidy-up. AI settings are simpler, the API page is clearer, and the usage card tells you when your usage resets.
Payments: clearer messages while you verify your business to accept online payments.
Authentication: an expired password-reset link now tells you so plainly, instead of leaving you guessing.
Files: duplicate forwarded files now show up as ordinary file cards in Files.
Fixes
Reports: VAT 201 field 12 now includes supplier credit notes.
VAT: ”+ VAT” on a line now follows your business’s default for VAT-exclusive pricing.
Reports: overdue report footers now add up only the rows shown.
Invoices: the overdue banner clears as soon as a Pay now payment is collected, no reload required.
Transactions: transactions dated before an account’s opening balance no longer ask to be categorised.
Bank: a deleted bank account now stays deleted, and disconnecting a bank account no longer stops direct-feed accounts from syncing.
Billing: fixed a bug that stopped lapsed trialists from subscribing again.
Authentication: a refused password reset no longer shows as a success.
Apps: Yoco payouts and bank fees now categorise correctly, so there’s less to clean up by hand.
