The businesses that stay on top of their books are the ones with stub a single tap away — photograph the till slip at the counter, upload it, done. There is no app store download: stub is a web app, so the "app" is a shortcut you add once, at no cost. It's the same stub either way — same login, same data, every feature — but installed it opens in its own window, straight to your Insights, without the browser clutter.
The quick way
Go to stub.africa/download on the device you want stub on. The page works out what you're holding: on Android or desktop it gives you a one-click Install button, on an iPhone or iPad it shows the Safari steps, and if stub is already installed it says so. If your browser can't install directly, the manual steps below cover it.
Add stub to your Android home screen
- Open Google Chrome on your Android device and go to stub.
- Tap the three-dots menu (⋮) in the top-right corner.
- Select Add to Home screen or Install app.
- Edit the shortcut name if you want, then tap Add or Install.
- Tap the stub icon on your home screen for instant access.
Add stub to your iPhone or iPad home screen
- Open Safari on your iPhone or iPad and go to stub.
- Tap the Share button — the square with an upward arrow — in the bottom toolbar.
- Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen.
- Change the shortcut name if you want, then tap Add in the top-right corner.
- Tap the stub icon to launch straight into your account.
Install stub on your desktop (macOS and Windows)
- Open Google Chrome, Brave or Microsoft Edge and sign in to stub.
- Click the Install icon at the right of your address bar.
- Click Install in the prompt.
- Pin the stub icon to your macOS Dock or Windows Taskbar.
