How to set up online payments

Collecting online payments via Paystack is one of the many ways your customers can pay you and not to mention its soo easy!

Offering a “click and pay” payment option is a win for both you and your customers. It offers customers an easy, quick and convenient way to pay you, while you can feel at peace knowing that payment will be landing in your bank account shortly.

Using online payments in stub

1. Collect online payments straight from your invoices.

You can add a payment button to your invoices so that your customer can "click and pay" instantly using their credit and debit cards.

2. Collect payments from a product or service link.

You can create a payment link for an individual product or service you sell. Send it to your customer and they can pay for that product or service straight from that product or service link.

3. Collect tips, donations and once-off payments.

You can setup a custom payments page for your fans. Send them the link to your page and they can send you tips, dono's or make a quick payment.

Setting up online payments

Set up online payments with the below steps:

1. Make sure you are logged into stub
2. In your menu, go to Settings
3. Select Online Payments
4. Select Get Started...
5. Select the account you want your customers to pay into and click Next. (If you have not added a bank account yet you will need to go and add your bank account first)
6. Once you accept the transaction fee disclaimer go ahead and Activate payments.
7. All done! Online payments will now be enabled and a payment button will now automatically appear on your invoices.

When will I receive my money?

Payments generally take between 2-5 working days from when the payment is made to when it lands in your bank account.

Disable online payments

If you want to turn off the payment button on your invoices you can easily do so by switching off the "Show payment" button in your Online Payments settings.
