Connect RMB Private Bank to stub

Link your RMB Private Bank account so transactions arrive in stub automatically every day — online banking login, plus an approval step.

Connect your RMB Private Bank account and your transactions arrive in stub automatically every day — no downloading statements, no retyping.

Only an owner can add a bank account.

Connect your RMB feed

  1. Go to Settings → Bank Accounts.
  2. Click Bank account. The Add bank account window opens.
  3. Choose Connect.
  4. Select RMB Private Bank from the bank list.
  5. Enter the credentials RMB asks for.
  6. Approve the request in the RMB Private Bank app.
  7. Choose the accounts you want to sync.

RMB also appears as a card under Settings → Apps, in the Bank section. Clicking it opens the same flow.

What RMB asks for

  1. Credentials: your online banking username and password.
  2. Approval: an RMB Smart InContact push notification on your registered device. RMB runs on FirstRand infrastructure, so make sure Smart InContact is switched on for your app profile.

Once you're connected

  1. Click Sync to pull your transactions in.
  2. Categorise what arrives — see Categorise bank transactions.
  3. Turn on background sync — see App settings & background sync.
